Country Music Video: "Here Comes Goodbye"

I have a favor I need to ask all of you out there. I have loved Rascal Flatts new song "here Comes Goodbye" since it was first released last month. I saw the music video for "Here Comes Goodbye" for the first time last night and I don't really understand it. When I listen to this song I picture it as a girlfriend breaking up with her boyfriend. This video seems to be about a women crying about her dad and her son dying? Also, is that the same girl from the "What Hurts the Most" video? I might just be over thinking it I am just very confused and wondering if anyone can explain it to me :)

Wow - that video is intense! I agree that when I heard the song on the radio, I thought it was a girlfriend breaking up with her boyfriend song, but you know Rascal Flatts they like to shake up the music video scene. Remember when they did the shower scene for "Melt" ? That caused crazy amount of controversy.

I think you have the video story line right. It's deep, that's for sure. After listening to the song again, I guess it could apply to a lot of different losses/types of good-byes, but the video does not match the lyrics directly.

I read that the song Here Comes Goodbye could mean alot of different losses. I first heard this song right after I had to put our family pet of 14 years to sleep..then I seen the video...wow

the video totally doesn't go with the lyrics--but that's ok--its a great video and a great song. They do that so much--make a video not go with the most imagined story the song portrays.
