Josh Turner at Mystic Lake Casino in Minnesota

Josh Turner will be performing in Minnesota at the Mystic Lake Casino on August 19th, 2010! I have always liked Josh Turner because of his unique/distinctive voice! Josh Turner released his first single "Long Black Train" in 2003 and it spent more than 40 weeks on the Billboard country charts. Josh Turner has released many great singles since then including: "Your Man," "Would You Go With Me," "Firecracker," "Another Try" which he recorded with Trish Yearwood and his newest single "Why Don't We Just Dance." I am so glad that Josh Turner is performing at Mystic Lake Casino because it is such a great venue to watch country artist in. It is a pretty small venue so no matter where you sit you are close to the performer. I have never seen Josh Turner in concert before so I don't know what to expect but I have no doubt that it will be great! Zac Brown Band Concert in Minnesota

I was so excited to find out that Zac Brown Band will be coming back to Minnesota! Zac Brown Band will be performing at Mystic Lake on June 20, 2010. I am a huge fan of the Zac Brown Band! The last time I saw them in concert is when they opened for Keith Urban at the Xcel Energy Center. Zac Brown Band are such great performers and have so much energy any time they play live. I am completely in love with their newest single "Highway 20 Ride." Other songs of theirs I am excited to hear are "Chicken Fried," "Whatever It Is," "Toes" and their rendition of "The Devil Went Down to Georgia." If you haven't had a chance to see Zac Brown Band in concert yet I highly suggest you get tickets for this concert because you will not be disappointed! There are still Zac Brown Band tickets available but I wouldn't wait to long to get your tickets.

Clay Walker Concert

Clay Walker is currently touring and he will be making a stop in Minnesota! Clay Walker will be performing at Mystic Lake Casino on April 15th at 7:30 pm. Clay Walker released his first #1 single "Whats It To You" in 1993 and has multiple #1 singles since then. His other #1 singles are "Live Until I Die," "Dreaming With My Eyes Open," "If I Could Make a Living," "This Women and This Man" and "Rumor Has It." Clay Walker has been a very successful country singer for many many years so I am sure he knows how to put on a great show! If you have seen him in concert before please let me know how he is as a performer. Clay Walker tickets are on sale right now so don't wait to buy some.

Willie Nelson Mystic Lake Tickets

Willie Nelson has been one of the most popular country singers since the 70s and he is coming to Minnesota! Willie Nelson will be performing at Mystic Lake on March 26th and 27th! Willie Nelson's first #1 single was "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" in 1975 and he has had dozens of hit songs since then. Some of his other #1 singles are "If Youve Got the Money, I've got the Time," "Georgia on My Mind," "Blue Skies," "My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys," "On the Road Again," "Always on My Mind," "City of New Orleans," "To All the Girls I've Loved Before" and "Nothing I Can Do About It Now." Willie Nelson is a legend and I am so excited I get the chance to see him!! Willie Nelson Mystic Lake Tickets will sell out very fast because there are so many people that love him. Country Concert in MN: Vince Gill

Vince Gill will be in Minnesota this Friday! Vince Gill has had a very long career and has come out with many amazing songs. Just a few of his #1 songs have been "I Still Believe In You", "Don't Let Our Love Start Slippin' Away", "One More Last Chance" and "Tryin' To Get Over You." He will be performing at the Mystic Lake Casino Showroom on May 1st and May 2nd which is this Friday and Saturday but I will still able to find Vince Gill tickets luckily. I know love going to the Mystic Lake Showroom after seeing Dierks Bentley. I'm almost positive any country fan would love seeing there favorite performer there and getting a chance to be that close to them!

Country Concerts in MN: Dierks Bentley 2

I don't even know where to begin when talking about the Dierks Bentley concert. Jamie and I had the best time and Dierks was amazing! Dierks Bentley is the type of performer whose main purpose while on stage is to connect with the audience and show his appreciation for everyone being there. He ran all over the stage to make sure everyone in the place got a chance to be close to him and he would talk to audience members between songs. It was by far one of the best concerts I have been to and I would see Dierks Bentley again in a heart beat. I got to hear him sing all my favorite songs and a few new ones I haven't heard yet. If you haven't listen to "I Want To Make You Close Your Eyes" I highly highly suggest you download it ASAP since it isn't a single yet so you won't hear it on the radio. I promise you won't be disappointed it is one of Dierks best songs! I have never bought Mystic Lake Casino Showroom tickets before so I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how close we were (as seen in the pictures) to the stage and as my friend Jamie said, "any seat in here would be a great seat." It is a very fun place to see a performer because the venue is a little smaller and everyone can feel like they have great seats!

Country Concerts in MN: Dierks Bentley

Everyone that knows me knows when I say something about "my husband" I am talking about Dierks Bentley and I can't believe I am only 3 days away from seeing him!!! He is coming to the Mystic Lake Casino on Saturday and Sunday at 7:30. I am going to the concert on Saturday because I don't think I would be able to wait another day :) This has been a crazy past few months for me and I almost forgot he was coming to town so unfortunately I wasn't able to get a hotel room in time because they are all booked but I was lucky enough to find Dierks Bentley tickets that are still available. I listen to "Feel That Fire" at least three times a day and tell everyone that its about me, I'm sure there are many girls out there that could agree with me. That is the song I am most excited about hearing but I can't wait to hear all of his songs live. I will make sure to take pictures and let you all know how amazing it was!

Country Concerts in MN: Dierks Bentley & Keith Urban tickets

My concert partner Jamie just told me the most exciting news this morning. My prayers have finally been answered and my dream is coming true, Dierks Bentley is coming to Minnesota!!!!!!! The best part is that he isn't here for just one day but two days! On April 25Th and April 26Th Dierks Bentley will be at Mystic Lake Casino. The tickets haven't gone on sale yet but by this weekend I will probably have tickets for both nights and I will let you know where and how I got them. I am beyond excited to finally see "my husband" Dierks Bentley live in concert.
It has been a couple days since I have written a blog so I didn't get a chance to tell everyone that I got my Keith Urban tickets when he comes to the Xcel Energy Center on May 14Th. This is going to be the best year of country concerts I have experienced since I was born. I get excited every time I hear a Dierks, Urban, Zac Brown Band, and many other artist on the radio because I know it is just a matter of time before I see them in concert!

Country Concerts in MN: Jason Aldean

I can already tell 2009 is going to be an amazing year for country concerts. Jason Aldean is just one more amazing artist that is making a stop in Minnesota. He will be preforming at Mystic Lake Casino Showroom on April 18Th. Jason Aldine Willimas a.k.a Jason Aldean released his first album, Jason Aldean, in early 2005. His first release was "Hicktown" which is a great song to play at a bonfire, I know from experience! His first #1 single was "Why" which I was addicted to for about 2 months. Since then he has released two more albums, Relentless and Wide Open. He has also had seven Top 40 songs with; "Hicktown", "Why", "Amarillo Sky", "Johnny Cash", "Laughed Until We Cried", "Relentless", and his newest single "She's Country." With all of those great songs I think this will be an awesome concert. I am going to yet again spend more of my life savings on concerts and go buy some Jason Aldean tickets. I hope my friend Jamie is getting ready for a crazy year of country concerts!

Country Concerts in MN: Clint Black

The legendary Clint Black will be in Minnesota in just two days. On January 17Th at 8 p.m. Clint will be playing at the Mystic Lake Casino Showroom. Clint Black had his first number #1 single in 1989 with "A Better Man." Since then he has had close to a dozen #1 hits and countless others in the top 20 country charts. To date Clint has sold more than 18 million Cd's and it doesn't look like he is going to stop anytime soon. I wish i was able to make it to this once in a lifetime concert but I am taking care of my little niece this weekend. I was pretty surprised to find Clint Black tickets for the Mystic Lake Casino still available when I was looking around on the web. If any of you go to this concert please let me know how it was. I'm pretty sure everyone will say it was amazing!

Sorry guys yet again I have to vent about another cross over artist. On the way to work today I was listening to K102 like always and I heard one of Jewels songs. In no way is she country to me and I don't understand why she is getting air time on K102. Don't get me wrong I don't hate all the girls music. When I was 12 in 1997 I did enjoy bopping along to "You Were Meant for Me" and "Who Will Save Your Soul." But, I don't understand where her new found love for country came from. In 1998 she received much criticism after singing the national anthem at the XXXII Super Bowl. She forgot the beginning of the anthem and it didn't help that she was lip-syncing so everyone heard the words but magically her lips weren't moving. I don't know many country stars that would do any of the above. Her first country album, Perfectly Clear, was released on June 3, 2008. To my surprise it debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country Album Charts. But not to my surprise, the next week it dropped down to #25. Its lead single, "Stronger Woman" was released to country radio on January 17, 2008. Its peak position on the country music charts was three months after it was released at #13. I know there are some of you out there that think i am crazy so please let me know I love to hear opinions that aren't the same as mine and who knows you might convince me to not turn the station every time one of her songs comes on. Also, for those of you who love the country Jewel I found out that you can get Mystic Lake Showroom tickets to see her on January 27. This is one country concert you probably won't see me at.

Loretta Lynn

This month is turning out to be a great month! Not only do i have Kelly Clarkson and Reba McEntire tickets, but I just got Loretta Lynn tickets! She is playing at the Mystic Lake Casino Showroom on October 25th and i am so excited to see this great legend. She has been making some of countries most powerful songs over the past four decades. She is very well known for "The Coal Miners' Daughter" which was a hit single, an album, a best-selling autobiography, and an Oscar-winning film. She recently did a duet with Jack White which was a huge success. Anyways, if you are a country fan like me you already know all about Loretta Lynn. I can't wait for her concert and I will let you know how awesome it is.
